Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care, including taking vital signs, and performing basic medical procedures

-Assist doctors with chairside procedures

- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies

- Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for their appointments

- Obtain patient medical history and update electronic medical records

- Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing patient inquiries

- Assist with X-ray procedures and other diagnostic tests as need

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and quality patient care

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred

- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing electronic medical records

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Ability to perform basic X-ray procedures (if applicable)

- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
